Godfrey Kanghambo (FCCA(UK), CPA(U), BCOM(MUK) is a commercially astute Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK), Member of the Certified Public Accountants (Uganda), a holder of a Bachelor of Commerce degree of Makerere University (Uganda) best ranked University in East Africa.

Godfrey has worked for over 27 years and at least 17 years as either Head of Finance or Senior Manager in a multi-national organization (SABMiller/ ABInBev) covering the entire breadth of Operational Finance. I am a leader who has demonstrated consistently the real strength of driving results, own change, leading with impact, turning dreams into reality, growing talent, and fostering diversity and inclusion.

Major Demonstrable Milestones:

• Godfrey was responsible for the financial management of Intafact Beverages and grew the EBITDA margin making the business the highest EBITDA contributor in the group.
• He managed the funding process for the Gateway Breweries and instituted basic control and financial governance.
• He was responsible for transforming Nile Breweries Limited Uganda from a negative EBITDA business to a profitable and strong cash-generating business.
• Under his leadership as the Finance Director, Nile Breweries became Number 2 within the AB InBev Africa Zone for Financial Excellence programme/Overall business health
• He was instrumental in turning around Rwenzori Beverages Limited Uganda water business to better performance (Financial leverage outperforming the major competitor) and growth before ABI/SABMILLER sold it to Coca-Cola as part of ABI/SABMILLER Africa’s strategy.
